Vent Kit for ETX900-VNT
This kit includes all you will need to make the installation of an ETX900-VNT easy and professional looking. The kit includes:
- Wye fitting to connect to the ETX900-VNT’s two ¼” tubes to a single 3/8” tube
- 6 feet of 3/8” tubing that can be cut to a custom length
- An aluminum exhaust port with 3/8” tube fitting. The exhaust port mounts to fuselage through a 9/16″ diameter hole and is secured with pal nut and lock washer.

The ETX900-VNT designed for in cabin installations!
This battery is based on the ETX900 design with the same cranking, capacity and electronic protections (BMS) but also has the addition of built in thermal runaway containment and venting for in cabin installation with 1 venting tube that is 6 feet in length, 1/4″ inside diameter, 5/16″ outside diameter. Under accessories button, you can order custom lengths of tubing if needed. It is 5.4 pounds and can be used in an aircraft that has an alternator/generator with 80 amps output or less and smaller than 550ci. The ETX900-VNT meets all of the DO-347 lithium battery use in aircraft testing requirements. This is not a TSO or PMA part number.
This battery also comes with an LED battery fault light indicator on the battery itself plus it can be programed into your EFIS or wired to your control panel of your aircraft with a simple 12V LED light that alerts you to the state of charge and state of health of the battery. The battery management system (BMS) protects the cells from:
- over discharge
- over charge
- short circuit
- cell balancing technology
- PLUS these protections are redundant for another layer of protection.

Recently purchased and installed an ETX680C for my experimental plane. The 680C replaced a Ballistics Performance EVO2 battery. Your battery is FANTASTIC. There is an amazing difference in cranking performance–I can almost taxi my aircraft when just running the starter!
Questioned myself for buying such a costly battery, however it has been one of my best decisions. This battery has performed exceptionally well and I will continue to upgrade to these Lithium batteries on all of my sport equipment!

Purchased the ETX900 for my 3300 Jabaru aircraft engine in my Zenith CH750. The new battery spins the engine significantly faster, allowing for starting the engine without preheating every time (anytime it was below 60 degrees F) What a difference it made and saved me just over 10 pounds. It’s worth the price.
After flying all weekend I must say I am impressed with this battery (ETX 900). My Odyssey PC 925 always worked well until recently with 4 years of use it started turning the prop a bit slower each time during start.
